A warm welcome to our School's Website. Hampstead School is a primary school located in the town of Ashburton, Mid Canterbury and provides a quality learning environment in which we promote lifelong learning through a range of challenges and opportunities.
Our teachers are committed to effective teaching practices that develop shared values and expectations. Students' education and learning is best supported when there is a co-operative effort between home and school.
Each student is encouraged and assisted to do their best and to work toward taking responsibility for their own learning where appropriate. Teachers are readily available to discuss student achievement and the school's programmes. Parents are encouraged to contact the school if they have any questions or concerns. Staff are always willing to assist parents and students on any matters concerning the school and students' learning.
We believe that the time students spend at Hampstead School will help to set the foundations for future learning.
